Concrete Floor Coatings and Finishes for Resurfacing

Concrete floors are often used in areas with heavy traffic; not just from foot traffic but industrial equipment traffic such as those from pallet trucks and trolleys, as well as from vehicular traffic from forklifts, lorries, cars and trucks that are required to access garages or warehouses for loading and unloading.

While these concrete floor coatings usually come with hard wearing surfaces and finishes, there’ll be times when caring and maintenance is due.

Ways to more Polished Concrete Floors: Concrete Flooring Solutions

Common issues faced by concrete floor surfaces when used over time are cracks, pits and cratering. Depending on the nature of these problems, there are respective concrete floor resurfacing solutions and industrial painting services that we can provide to resolve these.

Concrete Floor Grouting and Cement Repair

Concrete grouting is essentially filling in holes, cracks and crevices of concrete, masonry, brick surfaces as well as joints in between tiled surfaces with a cement and sand mixture by spreading it across the affected area with grouting tools such as a trowel.

Grouting is especially necessary for concrete flooring if the surface is pitted. The objective is to repair the concrete surface so that it is smoothed and leveled without the craters, pits and cracks. For tiled surfaces, grouting repairs the disjointed gaps by filling them in so that the joints are clean and dry.

Concrete Floor Painting

Concrete floor painting is what we usually call epoxy paint floor coating. In usual cases, we’ll need to apply a base coat, i.e. epoxy primer paint to the floor prior to the epoxy finishing paint coat.

Painting to concrete flooring is common for garages, factories production floors, basements, etc, especially where the environmental activities are not only harsher but the air that is exposed to chemicals and pollutants that can wear off painted surfaces.

Pebble Wash Flooring Finish

We also do pebble wash flooring finish for both exterior and interior areas. Pebble wash floors are often used for wet areas due to its slip-resistant nature.

Exterior spaces such as pavements in parks, the floors of lobbies, steps, driveways, public toilets, etc, often use pebble wash finishes for not only floors but sometimes walls and ceilings as well. Pebble wash flooring in interior applications are most commonly seen in bathrooms, especially the shower floors due to its anti-slip properties.

Shake-on & Liquid Floor Hardener

We also provide shake-on and liquid floor surface hardeners which use chemical-filling technology to penetrate into the naturally porous concrete to further harden and strengthen  from the top of and beneath the surface for higher wear-resistance and shine.

If you require any of the concrete floor resurfacing services, please contact us by phone or fill in the form on the right, we’ll be happy to assist you.
